International Sea and Land Transport
International sea and land transport is the main organizational form of international multimodal transport, and it is also one of the main organizational forms adopted by the Far East/Europe towards international multimodal transport. At present, there are mainly international shipping companies such as Sanlian Group, North Holland, Crown Airlines and Denmark’s Maersk, as well as non-liner associations such as China Ocean Shipping Company, Taiwan Evergreen Shipping Company and Germany’s Naya Shipping Company to organize and operate the Far East/European sea and land transport business. This form of organization takes the shipping company as the main body, issues the combined transport bill of lading, carries out the combined transport business with the inland transport departments at both ends of the route, and competes with the land bridge transport.
